Long Term Care
We’ll help you build a rugged, well-crafted structure, using the best materials and methods available. But it will need maintenance. If you care for it properly, children in your community could still be playing on it 25 years from now.
Continuous community involvement in the long-term care of your project is essential. Leathers & Associates encourages communities to form a group called “Friends of the Park” (FOTP), which is a volunteer group that helps monitor the playground and organize maintenance projects.
As you maintain your playground, you’ll undoubtedly need to contact our office with questions or concerns. Here’s what you can expect from us:
-
A Long-Term Care Guide with checklists, inspection charts, education and safety suggestions, forms, material specifications, and supplier contact information.
-
Phone support to answer your questions and talk you through maintenance or repairs. Don’t ever hesitate to call!
-
A semi-annual newsletter that includes helpful maintenance reminders and information.
-
Find updates on safety, materials, and long-term care on our website.
-
Optional (fee-based) safety audit/maintenance inspections.
