Organization Day

Two to four months before you begin construction, we’ll visit your community again to map out a strategy for the final stages of your project. One of Leathers’ construction consultants will review your progress and help you map out the final path to construction. Organization Day gives you an opportunity to make sure you understand what remains to be done. We’ll review the site with your committee, confer with committee coordinators individually and as a group, discuss the final design, and go over all schedules, plans, responsibilities, and construction details.

After Organization Day, your coordinators will find themselves working with checklists and guidelines to make sure they are on track and that you’ve properly prepared your site, collected and organized tools and materials, and signed up an adequate number of volunteers.
