The Story:

This may be the largest project Leathers & Associates has ever undertaken. It serves all of northwestern Oklahoma and is the only one of its kind in the state. More than 12,000 people worked 100,000 volunteer hours to make Adventure Quest possible.

The project incorporates the learning content of a science park with the fun of a playground. The tot lot (especially for children aged 2 to 5) has a mini-city design, and a water area teaches students about rivers and how water flows. Other components include a galleon with weather-measuring instruments, a research-quality telescope, a three-story slide and maze, an obstacle course, and an amphitheater.
