The
Story:
This large science park includes many
historic, math, and science-based components. The eyeballs in the
face have two different lenses, one wide-angle and one
telephoto.
A chickee, an indigenous structure with a
palmetto-thatched roof over a cypress log frame, was built on site
by people from the local Seminole tribe. Seminoles built chickees
beginning in the early 1800s when they were pursued by U.S. troops
and needed fast, disposable shelter while on the run.
Other elements include a molecular DNA climber, a three-story
space station, a Moebius climber, and a reef area encircling a
water squirter and a water trough. |
