After Design Day, well assign a member of our staff as your project manager. He or she will be familiar with your project and will be your primary contact with our office. Well also send you a schematic plan of your playground and a preliminary donated materials list. Between Design Day and Organization Day, youll concentrate on developing public relations, strengthening your committee, and networking within the community. At the same time, fundraising, recruiting volunteers, and locating materials and toolsand trying to get as many things donated as possiblewill begin. Youll find it useful to speak frequently with your project manager. During this time, well develop your final drawings and prepare your final materials list. Your project manager will check in with you (the General Coordinator) on a regular basis, too. You should feel free, however, to call at any time. The project manager will assist you throughout the project and answer any questions you may have or guide you in the right direction. An overview of some of the things the project manager will cover: acceptance of your proposal, design changes, verification of size and construction dates, reviews of preparation for Organization Day, and a construction checklist. Above all, we are here to guide you, counsel you, and provide any informational materials the committee may need every step of the way.
