Lake Charles, LA City Park

The Story:

This project was built in 10 days and covers 15,000 square feet. The enclosed structure was designed using a treehouse theme. It includes a “Crying Eagle’s Nest” and a “Louisiana Hurricane Slide” that exits out of the top of the structure. This structure (and others like it) is multi-storied with mazes and various play levels inside. The complexity of an enclosed structure adds a few days to the length of a “typical” 5-day build.

Other elements of the project are lighthouses, trains, historical components, and water misters. Twenty local captains worked with our consultants every day to help guide thousands of volunteers who completed the project in 95 degree heat.
