Sealer During construction, a sealer is applied called Deck & Shake. This is primarily a linseed-based sealer. Deck & Shake was formulated to preserve the natural wood look; protect against fungus and mildew; warping, cracking, and oxidation; as well as discoloration and deterioration. This sealer should be reapplied annually. |
